Notification of Student Complaints. ‌ The purpose of this section is to provide for a fair and thorough review of complaints by students against members, both tenured and non-tenured. The section recognizes that potential complaints may be essentially academic in nature, involving the professional duties of the member or they may be civil/criminal in nature, involving the civil rights of students as specified in applicable state and federal law. In either case, the College agrees to abide by the principle of due process in its investigation and disposition of such complaints. Members shall not be warned, reprimanded, suspended, or otherwise disciplined in any way as a result of a student complaint without due process.

  • Harassment Complaint Procedures In the case of a complaint of either personal or sexual harassment, the following shall apply:

  • Responsibility of student to attend school on every school day for the educational program in which they are enrolled, on time, ready to learn and take part in school activities • act at all times with respect and show tolerance towards other students and staff • work hard and comply with requests or directions from the teacher and principal • abide by school rules as outlined in the school’s Responsible Behaviour Plan for Students, including not bringing items to school which could be considered as weapons (e.g. dangerous items such as knives) • meet homework requirements and wear school’s uniform • respect the school property.

  • Proposing Integration Activities in the Planning Submission No integration activity described in section 6.3 may be proposed in a CAPS unless the LHIN has consented, in writing, to its inclusion pursuant to the process set out in section 6.3(b).

  • Evaluation of Students Acknowledging the District’s adopted grading system, the teacher shall maintain the right and responsibility to determine grades and other evaluation of a student. No grade or evaluation shall be changed except by the teacher with the approval of the building administrator.

  • Submission of Grievance 1. Before a submission of a written grievance, the aggrieved party must attempt to resolve the grievance informally with the grievant's immediate supervisor.

  • Supervision of Student Teachers Paragraph 1: Supervision of a student teacher shall be voluntary. Teachers shall normally be notified of a student teacher assigned at least two (2) weeks prior to the student teacher’s introduction to the classroom. The school system shall provide the cooperating teacher with whatever materials it deems appropriate. The cooperating teacher shall be responsible for being knowledgeable of the contents of any such materials provided.

  • Investigation of Grievances The investigation of grievances shall not interfere with the orderly process of education in District 281.

  • Initiation of Grievance When a dispute arises, an attempt shall be made by the Faculty Member to settle the grievance with the appropriate management representative. Failing a satisfactory solution, the Faculty Association shall initiate an informal meeting between the Grievor, a Faculty Association representative and the relevant Xxxx or the administrative supervisor in the case of a Librarian or Counsellor within ten working days after the situation leading to the grievance has arisen or within ten working days from the time the Faculty Member should reasonably have known of the occurrence of the situation giving rise to the grievance.

  • Program Compliance The School Board shall be responsible for monitoring the program to provide technical assistance and to ensure program compliance.

  • Regulatory Compliance a. Monitor compliance with the 1940 Act requirements, including:
