Immediate Supervisor The term "immediate supervisor" as used in this Article refers to the appropriate non-bargaining unit supervisory or management person to whom the employee is accountable.
Function of Bargaining Committee All matters pertaining to performance of work, operational problems, rates of pay, hours of work, collective bargaining, and other working conditions, shall be referred by the Union bargaining committee to the Employer for discussion and settlement.
New Member Orientation The Employer will notify the Union of any newly represented temporary employees. The Union will be given the opportunity to have a Union representative speak with the newly represented temporary employees for not more than thirty (30) minutes to provide information about the Union and this Agreement.
Supervisory or Military Service It is understood service with the Armed Forces of Canada in time of war or compulsory military service, or service with the Employer as a supervisory employee does not constitute a break in the continuous service and shall not affect an employee's seniority rights.
Protection of Bargaining Unit Work The Employer shall not assign work normally performed by members of this bargaining unit to persons outside the bargaining unit, to the point that it directly results in the termination, layoff or reduction in normal hours of any bargaining unit member The Employer shall not enter into any agreement that restricts or purports to restrict in any way the employment of and assignment of work to Nurses covered by this Collective Agreement without prior consultation and discussion with the Union’s Labour Relations Officer for the life of this Agreement. In the event of a fundamental change in the work normally performed by members of the bargaining unit, it is agreed that the parties shall meet to discuss these changes.
Supervision of Contractor Personnel The Contractor must supply all necessary and sufficient supervision over the work that is being performed and will be held solely responsible for the conduct and performance of his employees or agents involved in work under the Agreement.
Synchronisation Commissioning and Commercial Operation 8.1 The Developer shall provide at least forty (40) days advanced preliminary written notice and at least twenty (20) days advanced final written notice to ESCOM of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Power Project to the Grid System.
Designated Teacher for Looked After Children 17A) The Academy Trust will in respect of the Academy act in accordance with, and be bound by, all relevant statutory and regulatory provisions and have regard to any guidance and codes of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, as they apply at any time to a maintained school, relating to the designation of a person to manage the teaching and learning programme for children who are looked after by a LA and are registered pupils at the school. For the purpose of this clause, any reference to the governing body of a maintained school in such statutory and regulatory provisions, or in any guidance and code of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, shall be deemed to be references to the Governing Body of the Academy Trust. Supervisory Employees For the purposes of this Article, the parties agree that Supervisory positions are those that are not excluded under Article 2.0 above and that satisfy the following criteria:
CHILD AND DEPENDENT ADULT/ELDER ABUSE REPORTING CONTRACTOR shall establish a procedure acceptable to ADMINISTRATOR to ensure that all employees, agents, subcontractors, and all other individuals performing services under this Agreement report child abuse or neglect to one of the agencies specified in Penal Code Section 11165.9 and dependent adult or elder abuse as defined in Section 15610.07 of the WIC to one of the agencies specified in WIC Section 15630. CONTRACTOR shall require such employees, agents, subcontractors, and all other individuals performing services under this Agreement to sign a statement acknowledging the child abuse reporting requirements set forth in Sections 11166 and 11166.05 of the Penal Code and the dependent adult and elder abuse reporting requirements, as set forth in Section 15630 of the WIC, and shall comply with the provisions of these code sections, as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended.
