EMPLOYEE RIGHTS The County shall not hinder or discipline an employee for exercising any rights or benefits provided in the Memorandum of Understanding.
TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT 9.1 The Employer and the Union recognize the value and benefit of education and training designed to enhance an employee’s ability to perform their job duties. Training and employee development opportunities will be provided to employees in accordance with college/district policies and available resources.

Nothing contained within this Agreement shall be construed to deny or restrict to any employee rights he/she may have under the Michigan School Laws or the applicable laws and regulations. The rights granted to employees hereunder shall be deemed to be in addition to those provided elsewhere.
