One-Man Service Trucks. The Cooperative may authorize a qualified employee to operate a service truck. For the purpose of this section, a qualified employee shall mean a Line Xxxxxxx, a Service Xxxxxxx, or a Journeyman Lineman. A qualified employee may perform the following tasks: make secondary connects or disconnects while the associated transformer is energized, perform outages if the task can be safely done without climbing poles, read meters, collect delinquent bills, or any other tasks the employee believes he can perform safely without help. If the employee requests help, it shall be granted. A qualified employee may perform all the above tasks using a bucket truck, and may also install, remove, and maintain security lights, if he uses a bucket truck. One-man service bucket positions shall be considered permanent positions for the purpose of bidding. Employees operating one-man service bucket trucks shall receive either a service xxxxxxx’x rate of pay, or the employee’s classification rate, whichever is greater. This section shall not apply to bucket trucks normally assigned to construction crews.

  • Routing for Operator Services and Directory Assistance Traffic For a Verizon Telecommunications Service dial tone line purchased by MLTC for resale pursuant to the Resale Attachment, upon request by MLTC, Verizon will establish an arrangement that will permit MLTC to route the MLTC Customer’s calls for operator and directory assistance services to a provider of operator and directory assistance services selected by MLTC. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement pursuant to an appropriate written request submitted by MLTC and a mutually agreed-upon schedule. This routing arrangement will be implemented at MLTC's expense, with charges determined on an individual case basis. In addition to charges for initially establishing the routing arrangement, MLTC will be responsible for ongoing monthly and/or usage charges for the routing arrangement. MLTC shall arrange, at its own expense, the trunking and other facilities required to transport traffic to MLTC’s selected provider of operator and directory assistance services.

  • Voice Information Service Traffic 5.1 For purposes of this Section 5, (a) Voice Information Service means a service that provides [i] recorded voice announcement information or [ii] a vocal discussion program open to the public, and (b) Voice Information Service Traffic means intraLATA switched voice traffic, delivered to a Voice Information Service. Voice Information Service Traffic does not include any form of Internet Traffic. Voice Information Service Traffic also does not include 555 traffic or similar traffic with AIN service interfaces, which traffic shall be subject to separate arrangements between the Parties. Voice Information Service Traffic is not subject to Reciprocal Compensation charges under Section 7 of the Interconnection Attachment.

  • DEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 16, 18 and 19, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment shall be taxable only in that State unless the employment is exercised in the other Contracting State. If the employment is so exercised, such remuneration as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State.

  • INSERVICE TRAINING 633. The City agrees to institute inservice training for represented employees by mutual agreement. Required attendance shall be considered a duty assignment for purposes of payment of salary.

  • Service Term XOOM agrees to act as your exclusive natural gas supplier and will provide competitive retail natural gas service to you.   • OUR SERVICE TO YOU We will act honestly, fairly and professionally in accordance with Your best interests. We will normally represent You, rather than acting on behalf of the insurer. If We do not give You advice and a personal recommendation, We will inform You accordingly. Where We propose or advise on an insurance contract, We will inform You whether We are: • Giving a personal recommendation on the basis of a fair and personal analysis of the market. This is Our normal service. • Under a contractual obligation to place business exclusively with one or more insurers (in which case We will provide You with the names of those insurers). Examples of this type of service would include ‘single insurer’ or ‘panel of insurers’ type arrangements. • Not under a contractual obligation to place exclusively with one or more insurers and We do not give a personal recommendation on the basis of a fair and personal analysis of the market (in which case We will provide You with the names of those insurers). An example of this type of service would be where We only approach Your existing insurers for renewal terms. We will identify Your demands and needs and ensure that the insurance contract being proposed is consistent with them. Where We give advice and a personal recommendation, We will explain why the insurance contract being proposed best meets Your demands and needs. If We do not give You advice and a personal recommendation, You are responsible for ensuring that the insurance contract being proposed is suitable for You. We will provide You with a letter/report setting out key aspects of the insurance cover being proposed; however, this is not intended to be a substitute for the insurer(s) policy wording, which will take precedence in setting out the terms of the cover. We will endeavor to place insurance cover on Your behalf, but We do not guarantee to be able to do this. We will provide You with details of the cover effected on Your behalf, including the insurer who is underwriting the risk. Where We offer to arrange a facility with a premium finance provider which allows You to pay Your insurance premium by regular instalments, We do not offer advice in relation to this facility; however, We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of options available. You must make Your own choice on which option to accept. When arranging a facility with a premium finance provider on Your behalf, We only act as a credit broker; We do not act as a lender.
