OPEN CAST MINING. The proposed mining operations will be carried out by manual open cast method. The salient features of mode of working as per approved Mining Plan are:- • Haulage road of 6 - 7m wide will be constructed at a gradient not steeper then 1:16. • The development will be started from top downwards. Top soil varying in thickness from 0.5 m to 1.0 m will be removed and stacked separately. This will be used later for plantation purposes on dumps and backfilled areas. • Weathered Sandston approximately 1.0 m thickness will be removed afterwards to expose the mineral sandstone with the help of Pay-loader/ JCB to be deployed on hire basis as and when required. Some of this material will be used for construction of roads etc. OB will be dumped in the dumps initially on the non mineralized zone till backfilling starts. • Benches of 3 m high will be formed taking 1.5 m slices. Jhiri cutting machines will be deployed for winning the mineral. • Drilling by Xxxx xxxxxx will be done in case dimensional blocks are required. • Loading of blocks/ patties will be done with the help of hired cranes. • Workings will be started initially in the block B as per the approved mining plan. Benches will advance from South to North direction. • Workings in first five years will be confined to 180 AMSL. • Two benches of 3 m height will be worked at one time. • Water table is around 12 to 14 m depth from general ground level. While the workings will be confined to approximately 10 m depth only. • Workings will not intersect the water table. • No blasting is envisaged during mining operations.

  • Unbroken Vacation Period An Employee shall receive an unbroken period of vacation unless mutually agreed upon between the Employee and the Employer.

  • WSIB & LTD An Employee who is receiving benefits under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, or under a LTD plan, is not entitled to benefits under a school board’s sick leave and short term disability plan for the same condition unless the employee is on a graduated return to work program then WSIB/LTD remains the first payor. For clarity, where an employee is receiving partial benefits under WSIB/LTD, they may be entitled to receive benefits under the sick leave plan, subject to the circumstances of the specific situation. During the interim period from the date of the injury/incident or illness to the date of the approval by the WSIB/LTD of the claim, the employee may access sick leave and short term leave and disability coverage. A reconciliation of sick leave deductions made and payments provided, will be undertaken by the school board once the WSIB/LTD has adjudicated and approved the claim. In the event that the WSIB/LTD does not approve the claim, the school board shall deal with the absence consistent with the terms of the sick leave and short term leave and disability plans.

  • Wash-Up Time 60.01 Where the Employer determines that due to the nature of the work there is a clear cut need, wash-up time up to a maximum of ten (10) minutes will be permitted before the end of the working day, or immediately following and contiguous to the working day.

  • Sub-Loop In locations where SBC-AMERITECH has deployed: (1) Digital Loop Carrier systems and an uninterrupted copper loop is replaced with a fiber segment or shared copper in the distribution section of the loop; (2) Digital Added Main Line (“DAML”) technology to derive multiple voice-grade POTS circuits from a single copper pair; or (3) entirely fiber optic facilities to the end user, SBC-AMERITECH will make the following options available to CLEC:

  • Unbundled Copper Sub-Loop (UCSL) is a copper facility of any length provided from the cross-box in the field up to and including the End User’s point of demarcation. If available, this facility will not have any intervening equipment such as load coils between the End User and the cross-box.

  • Unbundled Sub-Loop Feeder 2.8.4.1 Unbundled Sub-Loop Feeder (USLF) provides connectivity between BellSouth's central office and cross-box (or other access point) that serves an end user location.

  • Sick Leave Separation Cash Out ‌ At the time of retirement from state service or at death, an eligible employee or the employee’s estate will receive cash for their compensable sick leave balance on a one (1) hour for four (4) hours basis. For the purposes of this Section, retirement will not include “vested out of service” employees who leave funds on deposit with the retirement system.
