Common use of Operating Supplies Clause in Contracts

Operating Supplies. Operating supplies include fuel, oil, filters, lube/oil changes. Even though Block 7 may specify that all operating supplies are to be furnished by the Contractor (wet), the Government may, at its option, elect to furnish such supplies when necessary to keep the equipment operating. The cost of such supplies will be determined by the Government and deducted from payment to the Contractor.
