  • Health and Safety Standards Contractor shall abide by all health and safety standards set forth by the State of California and/or the County of Xxxxxx pursuant to the Injury and Illness Prevention Program. If applicable, Contractor must receive all health and safety information and training from County.

  • Operational Requirements 4 At-Sea Monitors are deployed, in accordance with coverage rates developed by 5 NMFS and as assigned through the Pre-Trip Notification System (PTNS), to 6 vessels. Due to availability of funding, changes in the fishery management, 7 such as emergency closures, court ordered closures, weather, and unforeseen 8 events must remain flexible. Additional funding for sea days may be added to 9 the contract within the scope and maximum allowable sea days. 10 The following items define the operational services to be provided by the 11 contractor under this contract.

  • Health and Safety Requirements The Contractor and his subcontractors ensure at all times compliance with safety regulations imposed by any Act of Parliament, ordinance or any regulation or by¬law of any local or statutory authority. Eskom may, at any stage during the currency of this agreement, be entitled to:  Do safety audits at the Contractor’s premises, its work-places and on its employees;  Refuse any employee, sub-contractor or agent of the Contractor access to its premises if such person has been found to commit any unlawful act or any unsafe working practice or is found to be not authorised or qualified in terms of the Act;

  • COMPLIANCE WITH HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS The Contractor, it’s Subcontractors, and their respective employees, shall comply fully with all applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental laws, ordinances, rules and regulations in the performance of the services, including but not limited to those promulgated by the City and by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). In case of conflict, the most stringent safety requirement shall govern.   • Environmental Regulations The Contractor shall conduct activities in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and other requirements of the Contract relating to the environment and its protection at all times. Unless otherwise specifically determined, the Owner is responsible for obtaining and maintaining permits related to stormwater run-off. The Contractor shall conduct operations consistent with stormwater run-off permit conditions. Contractor is responsible for all items it brings to the Site, including hazardous materials, and all such items brought to the Site by its Subcontractors and suppliers, or by other entities subject to direction of the Contractor. The Contractor shall not incorporate hazardous materials into the Work without prior approval of Owner, and shall provide an affidavit attesting to such in association with the request for the Substantial Completion Inspection.

  • Safety Standards Performance of the Contract for all commodities or contractual services must comply with requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and other applicable State of Florida and federal requirements.

  • Procedural and Operational Requirements By accepting and using the Financial Assistance awarded under this Agreement and for this Program Element, LPHA agrees to conduct activities in accordance with the following requirements:

  • CONTRACT WORK HOURS AND SAFETY STANDARDS As per the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708), where applicable, all Customer Purchase Orders in excess of ,000 that involve the employment of mechanics or laborers must include a provision for compliance with 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5). Under 40 U.S.C. 3702 of the Act, each contractor must be required to compute the wages of every mechanic and laborer on the basis of a standard work week of 40 hours. Work in excess of the standard work week is permissible provided that the worker is compensated at a rate of not less than one and a half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the work week. The requirements of 40 U.S.C. 3704 are applicable to construction work and provide that no laborer or mechanic must be required to work in surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous. These requirements do not apply to the purchases of supplies or materials or articles ordinarily available on the open market, or contracts for transportation or transmission of intelligence.
