Common use of Optional Group Health and Accident Insurance Plan Clause in Contracts

Optional Group Health and Accident Insurance Plan. Upon a unit member’s written authorization, the Board shall cause to have deducted from said individual's wages the prescribed amount as the individual's contribution to optional group health and accident insurance plans. Such authorization shall be revoked upon receipt of written notice from the unit member. Money so collected shall be immediately forwarded by the Treasurer to the designated insurance company(ies) with an accounting as to the name and amount contributed by each unit member.
