Common use of Ordering and Maintenance Clause in Contracts

Ordering and Maintenance. D&E shall use Verizon’s electronic Operations Support System access platforms to submit Orders and requests for maintenance and repair of Services, and to engage in other pre-ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance and repair transactions. If Verizon has not yet deployed an electronic capability for D&E to perform a pre-ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance or repair, transaction offered by Verizon, D&E shall use such other processes as Verizon has made available for performing such transaction (including, but not limited, to submission of Orders by telephonic facsimile transmission and placing trouble reports by voice telephone transmission).

Ordering and Maintenance. D&E Emergency shall use Verizon’s electronic Operations Support System access platforms to submit Orders and requests for maintenance and repair of Services, and to engage in other pre-ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance and repair transactions. If Verizon has not yet deployed an electronic capability for D&E Emergency to perform a pre-pre- ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance or repair, transaction offered by Verizon, D&E Emergency shall use such other processes as Verizon has made available for performing such transaction (including, but not limited, to submission of Orders by telephonic facsimile transmission and placing trouble reports by voice telephone transmission).

D&E GNAPs shall use Verizon’s electronic Operations Support System access platforms to submit Orders and requests for maintenance and repair of Services, and to engage in other pre-ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance and repair transactions. If Verizon has not yet deployed an electronic capability for D&E GNAPs to perform a pre-pre- ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance or repair, transaction offered by Verizon, D&E GNAPs shall use such other processes as Verizon has made available for performing such transaction (including, but not limited, to submission of Orders by telephonic facsimile transmission and placing trouble reports by voice telephone transmission).

If Verizon has not yet deployed an electronic capability for D&E Threshold to perform a pre-pre- ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance or repair, transaction offered by Verizon, D&E Threshold shall use such other processes as Verizon has made available for performing such transaction (including, but not limited, to submission of Orders by telephonic facsimile transmission and placing trouble reports by voice telephone transmission).

If Verizon has not yet deployed an electronic capability for D&E Phone-Link to perform a pre-pre- ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance or repair, transaction offered by Verizon, D&E Phone-Link shall use such other processes as Verizon has made available for performing such transaction (including, but not limited, to submission of Orders by telephonic facsimile transmission and placing trouble reports by voice telephone transmission).

If Verizon has not yet deployed an electronic capability for D&E Xxxx Tell to perform a pre-pre- ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance or repair, transaction offered by Verizon, D&E Xxxx Tell shall use such other processes as Verizon has made available for performing such transaction (including, but not limited, to submission of Orders by telephonic facsimile transmission and placing trouble reports by voice telephone transmission).

If Verizon has not yet deployed an electronic capability for D&E Direct2Internet to perform a pre-ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance or repair, transaction offered by Verizon, D&E Direct2Internet shall use such other processes as Verizon has made available for performing such transaction (including, but not limited, to submission of Orders by telephonic facsimile transmission and placing trouble reports by voice telephone transmission).
