Orientation of the barrier. The orientation of the barrier is such that the first contact of the vehicle with the barrier is on the steering-column side. Where there is a choice between carrying out the test with a right-hand or left-hand drive vehicle, the test shall be carried out with the less favourable hand of drive as determined by the Technical Service responsible for the tests.
