Other Forms of Displacement. If a regular employee is unable to bump into a different position in accordance with this Article, the employee shall have the right to: 1) Fill a vacant position of the same or lower pay grade, provided he or she possesses the qualifications, performance record, aptitude, and ability to perform the work, and provided he or she possesses the minimum qualifications as defined in the job description; 2) Displace a probationary employee, provided he or she possesses the qualifications, performance record, aptitude, and ability to perform the work, and provided he or she possesses the minimum qualifications as defined in the job description; 3) Be considered for open County positions for which the employee is qualified that are outside of the bargaining unit.
