Common use of Other Organizations Clause in Contracts

Other Organizations. The Board agrees not to negotiate with any other labor representative concerning salary, hours, or working conditions for the duration of the Agreement with respect to faculty members included in the bargaining unit. Nothing contained herein, however, shall be construed to prevent any individual faculty member from presenting a grievance and having the grievance adjusted without intervention from the Association, if the adjustment is not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement, and provided that the Association has been given an opportunity to be present at such adjustment.
