Our Growing Practices. The farm operates using exclusively organic farming practices. Organic produce is grown without using specific conventional pesticides, herbicides, fertilisers made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge, bioengineering, or ionising radiation. Our plants are strong and resilient which increases their nutritional value. We brew compost teas, farm worms en masse, use compost, apply companion planting, cover crops, solarisation and mulching gardens to retain moisture in our soils and encourage the evolution of micro life to feed healthy root systems.
