OUT OF HOURS CONTACT. 26.1 The provisions of this clause replace clause 21(5) – Overtime and Schedule E – Part I – Out of Hours Contact of the Award. 26.2 The terms below have the following meanings. "out of hours contact" includes the following: (a) (i) ‘standby’ means a written instruction or other authorised direction by the Employer or a duly authorised officer to an Employee to remain at the Employee’s place of employment during any period outside the Employee’s normal hours of duty, and to perform certain designated tasks periodically or on an impromptu basis. The Employee must be provided with appropriate facilities for sleeping if attendance is overnight, and other personal needs, where practicable.
