Out of State/Local Area HMO Coverage for Eligible Retirees. Effective November 1, 2012, the District will offer additional options for eligible retirees under Section 16.4 who are living out of state, or out of the local area. Such options will include Kaiser coverage (subject to availability in the retiree’s local area) and possibly a “Limited PPO” style plan. If the retiree opts to enroll in such a plan, the District’s contribution to the premium shall be limited to the cost of the most expensive Medicare risk HMO the District provides to retirees within the CLPCCD service area.
