Overcharging. (a) Where you have been overcharged, we must inform you within 10 business days of our becoming aware of that overcharging and: (i) if you have already paid that amount, credit that amount to your next bill unless you reasonably request otherwise in which case we will comply with that request; or (ii) if you have ceased to purchase customer retail services from us, use our best endeavours to pay that amount to you within 10 business days. (b) If you have been overcharged otherwise than as a result of our, or your distribution entity’s, act or omission, we are only required to credit or pay you the amount you were overcharged in the 12 months before the error was discovered.
