Overtime Rate of Pay and Compensatory Time Off. An employee who works overtime may elect to be compensated in cash or compensatory time off at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the employee’s regular straight-time rate of pay, with the following exceptions, when employees will be compensated in cash or compensatory time off at double (2X) the straight-time rate:
