Common use of Owner’s Assignment Clause in Contracts

Owner’s Assignment. Anything in this Agreement to the contrary notwithstanding, Owner shall have the right, without Manager's consent, to sell, transfer, or assign Owner's interest in the Premises and/or this Agreement at any time, and in such event, Owner shall be relieved of Owner's obligations under this Agreement to the extent such obligations arise after the date of such sale, transfer, or assignment, provided that such transferee or assignee agrees to assume in writing all of the unaccrued obligations under this Agreement and agrees to perform to the full extent required under the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
