Common use of Panel Membership Clause in Contracts

Panel Membership. The Panel will consist of three (3) Employer Panel members appointed by the Employer who have the authority to resolve the grievances, and three (3) Union Panel members appointed by the Union who have the authority to resolve the grievances. If the case involves an institution or facility that a Business Representative has been appointed to represent, or at which a Shop Xxxxxxx is employed, the representative may not serve as a Panel member during the hearing of that case. If the case involves an institution or facility where an Employer representative is employed/located, the Employer representative may not serve as a Panel member during the hearing of the case.
