Common use of Parental Release Time Clause in Contracts

Upon proper advance notification, employees may be granted up to forty (40) hours Parental Leave – two (2) hours of which will be paid leave each semester – each year, to participate in the activities of a school or licensed child day care facility of any of the employee’s children. Parental Leave shall not exceed eight (8) hours in any calendar month of the year.
