Part-time Percentage In Lieu. In addition to a part-time, casual or temporary employee’s regular straight time hourly rate, such employees shall be paid a percentage in lieu of all fringe benefits, except vacation, of 12%, payable on all straight time hours worked. More specifically, designated holiday pay and pension is included in the percentage in lieu. As set out in Article 19.02, a part-time nurse may, on a voluntary basis, enroll in the Hospital’s Pension Plan when eligible in accordance with its terms and conditions and the percentage in lieu of fringe benefits will be 9%.
