Time in Lieu. (a) An Employee may, with the consent of the Employer, elect to take time off in lieu of payment for overtime worked (including where recalled to duty) for a period equivalent to the overtime worked, plus a period equivalent to the overtime penalty incurred or a combination of time off and payment to the same value.

Time in Lieu. If you would prefer to take time in lieu instead of overtime payment for additional hours, you can request this. Time in lieu is taken on an hour for hour basis and must be approved by your manager. If the time off is not taken within 4 weeks, you will be paid for the additional hours at the above overtime rates.

Time in Lieu. 6.3.1 All time worked by Employees in excess of 152 hours per four week period shall be considered as time in lieu. Employees may accumulate time in lieu indefinitely and elect to use any accumulated hours as time off work during normal working hours. 6.3.2 The time in lieu entitlement shall be determined by the amount of additional hours worked by the employee (e.g an employee who has worked an additional hour shall be entitled to an hour off work as time in lieu). 6.3.3 All Employees must make themselves available to work a reasonable amount of overtime which shall be considered as time in lieu at the request of the Company. 6.3.4 Any employee electing to use their banked time in lieu shall be required to provide the Company at least 48 hours notice in writing.

Time in Lieu. (a) The Employer may require a Teacher to attend a school activity outside the normal attendance of the Teacher where such attendance is required and reasonable notice is provided. (b) School activity for the purpose of clause 59.3 refers to a structured activity organised by the school such as a parent–Teacher meeting/interview, a camp, an excursion, a concert, open days, parent sessions or after-school hours sport. (c) Where a Teacher is required to attend a school activity outside the normal attendance for a Teacher on that day, and the Teacher’s attendance in that week exceeds 38 hours for a full-time Teacher or on a pro-rata basis for a part-time Teacher, time in lieu will be provided to that Teacher over the course of that school year. (d) A Teacher may request not to attend the school activity outside the normal attendance of the Teacher where this will unreasonably affect the Teacher’s personal or family commitments. The Employer may only refuse the request on reasonable grounds.
Time in Lieu. 13.06.1 All overtime shall be paid as time in lieu at the appropriate rate. Exceptions shall be seasonal staff in situations where it would not be practical to give them time off. Should this situation occur overtime would be paid out with their final pay cheque. 13.06.2 All time in lieu shall be banked and used at the mutual convenience of the employee and the Manager or Administrator prior to March 1st of the next fiscal year. Where the situation warrants, the Manager or Administrator will schedule time in lieu off or pay out.
Time in Lieu. In order to meet the work requirements of the Employer and/or the personal requirements of the Employee, the Employee may, subject to the approval of the local manager, work hours in excess of the normal working day and accrue a balance of time worked. In such cases the additional hours are unpaid and the Employee will be entitled to take time in lieu on the basis of one hour for each additional hour worked. A maximum of 76 hours time in lieu may be accrued. The taking of time off in lieu will be by mutual arrangement between the Employee and the Employer. The Employee will be paid an amount equivalent to any accrued time in lieu at the cessation of employment for whatever reason the cessation occurs. Subject to the approval of the Employer the Employee may choose to work on a Public Holiday and receive a leave credit of up to 1 day which must be taken within the next 12 months. The time in lieu will be taken at the rate of one hour for each hour worked. An Employee who with the agreement of their Employer substitutes a Public Holiday for another day to observe other religious or cultural occasions of significance to the Employee will be paid at the ordinary rate of pay for work on that Public Holiday.
