– PREMIUM PAYMENT AND OTHER ALLOWANCES. 18.01 (a) When a regular full-time employee works in excess of seven (7) hours per day when assigned by the Manager or designate, the excess shall be regarded as overtime and shall be compensated at time and one-half (1½). This overtime may be taken as compensating time. Compensating time off shall be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time.

The maximum amount of compensating time off which may be accumulated at any given time is the equivalent of five (5) work days. Once overtime bank reaches the maximum amount of hours, payroll will notify the employee’s manager who will discuss options with the employee to address the excess time. It is the intent of the foregoing that overtime premium will only be paid for time actually worked in excess of their regularly scheduled shift. The Employer shall not require an employee working overtime to take compensating time off during that pay period.
