Pavement Classification Number (PCN) Research and Analysis. Xxxxxx will perform a Pavement Classification Number (PCN) analysis in accordance with FAA AC 150/5335-5C using COMFAA software. A PCN analysis will be performed on XX 00-00, XX 0X-00X xxx XX 0X-00X. Xx addition, dependent on available pavement section and geotechnical data, a PCN analysis be performed on Taxiway A and all associated connectors (A1 – A12), Taxiway B and all associated connectors (B1 – B7), Taxiway X, X0 xxx X0, Xxxxxxx X, Xxxxxxx X0, X0, X0 and E7. Work will include: • Determining the traffic volume in terms of annual departures for each aircraft that has used or is planned to use the airport during the pavement life period. All significant traffic will be recorded, including non-scheduled, charter, and military, as accurately as possible. This information will include: o Past, current, and forecasted traffic cycles of each significant aircraft. o Aircraft operational or maximum gross weights o Typical aircraft weight distribution on the main and nose gear. o Main gear type (dual, dual tandem, etc.). o Main gear tire pressure. o Fuel-loading practices of aircraft at the airport (P/TC ratio). • Determining appropriate reference section to use based on number of wheels on main gears. • Determining pavement characteristics, including the subgrade CBR and equivalent pavement thickness. The CBR data will be determined from field data, geotechnical reports, pavement strength survey data and construction drawings from past projects on each of the above referenced runways and taxiways. Equivalent pavement thickness calculations will be based on historical data. No field investigation or laboratory testing will be conducted. If no historical data is available for a given runway or taxiway, no PCN analysis will be performed. • Data Analysis includes: o Calculating the maximum allowable gross weight for each aircraft on pavement at equivalent annual departure level.

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards.
