Common use of Pay in Lieu of Statutory Holidays Clause in Contracts

Pay in Lieu of Statutory Holidays. Whether or not an employee works on any of the Statutory Holidays under Article 17, he shall receive in lieu of paid holidays, four and a half percent (4.5%) of his standard hourly rate for each hour worked. The employee shall be paid this amount every payday.
