Pay on Temporary Assignment, Lower Rated Job. When an employee is temporarily assigned by the University to a position paying a lower rate for purposes other than demotion, their rate shall not be reduced. This Article does not apply to a change of position as a result of the exercise of seniority rights under Article 17 (Layoffs and Recalls).
