Common use of Pay Shortages Clause in Contracts

Pay Shortages. Pay shortages shall be paid promptly after receipt and verification of the bargaining unit member's complaint in accordance with Section 21.07.A.4, and no later than fifteen (15) calendar days after verification of a written complaint submitted on forms provided by the State. If not paid within the prescribed period, the penalties set forth in Section 21.07.A.4 shall apply for any verified pay shortage greater than one hundred dollars ($100.00). Shortages of less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) shall be paid on the next regular payday.
