Pay Status and Eligibility. An employee must be in a pay status either the employee’s 13 scheduled working day before or the employee’s scheduled working day after a holiday in order to 14 receive holiday pay. An employee leaving County employment the day prior to the holiday shall not 15 receive holiday pay.
