Payment for Early Call Clause Samples
The 'Payment for Early Call' clause defines the financial terms that apply if a party exercises its right to terminate or redeem an agreement or instrument before its scheduled maturity date. Typically, this clause specifies the amount or formula used to calculate the payment due upon early termination, which may include a premium or penalty above the principal or outstanding balance. Its core function is to compensate the non-terminating party for potential losses or lost future benefits, thereby discouraging arbitrary early termination and ensuring predictability in financial planning.
