Home Base. Each teacher shall be provided with a desk, filing cabinet, and some area where the teacher may store the teacher’s materials safely in each building assignment. Home base is defined as the building assignment at the start of the workday.
Home Base. The slot to which a bargaining unit member returns at the conclusion of a temporary assignment.
Home Base. Home base assignments are a management decision and have to be maintained as such in order to service students.
Home Base. Home base is the base the employee is appointed to or subsequently transferred to in accordance with this Agreement.
Home Base. (a) All Employees shall, at the time of commencement of this Agreement or at the time of employment (whichever is the latter), be notified of their Home Base, which shall be either the Xxxxxxxx Office or the Leeton Office.
(b) Some Employees may have two Home Bases on particular terms. For example, an Employee may have the Xxxxxxxx Office as a Home Base for Mondays to Wednesdays, and the Leeton Office on Thursdays and Fridays.
(c) MI may change an Employee’s Home Base by providing the Employee with at least four weeks’ notice in writing. To avoid any doubt, if this change is permanent, the applicable sections of Clause 9 will apply.
(d) In the event that an Employee is required to attend for duties at a location other than their Home Base (Location X):
(i) all travel time to and from their Home Base to Location X will count as time worked; and
(ii) in the event that the Employee does not travel from their Home Base (for example, because they travel to Location X directly from home), the time that it would usually take to travel from their Home Base to Location X will count as time worked. For those applicable Employees employed in Group B, Clause 42B will apply.
(e) To avoid any doubt, nothing within this Clause 14.2 prevents or inhibits MI from exercising its powers of direction under Clause 14.1.
Home Base. At or before the beginning of each program year or as soon thereafter as is practicable, the Employer will establish assignments or assignment areas for home base teachers. At such time as assignments or assignment areas are established, home base teachers will be provided opportunity to state a preference or preferences to particular assignments or assignment areas or modifications in those assignments or assignment areas. Thereafter, assignments will be made by the Employer in its discretion. Changes in assignments or reassignments may be made by the Employer during the program year as circumstances may warrant in its discretion. The establishment of assignments or assignment areas of home base teachers are not subject to grievance and may be made in the sole discretion of the Employer, but this does not preclude the matter from being discussed at labor-management committee meetings pursuant to Article XV, Section 1. Preferences may, but are not required to, be followed.
Home Base. For purposes of this Agreement, the permanent base of operation of the Aircraft shall be as set forth on Schedule A hereto, or such other location as shall be determined by the Company from time to time.

Home Base. 15.01 An employee’s Home Base will be deemed as the Cluster they are working in upon the execution of this Letter of Understanding.
15.02 All new Hires home base will deemed as the Cluster in which they are assigned at the time of hire.
15.03 Notwithstanding Article 15.02 above, employees hired at the beginning of the Summer Session and Summer Interim may for operational reasons be placed in an area outside of their “home base” and at the end of the summer session be reassigned to a new home base.
15.04 Employees will be able to request a change to their home base once every two years, if that request is operationally feasible. Requests to change home base areas must be submitted to the Human Resources Division no later than June 1st of the year which the employee wishes to change their home base.
15.05 Home Base changes will be effective for the Fall Session.
15.06 An employee who has established seniority who changes home base area will be placed at the bottom of the seniority list in the new home base, ahead of those employees without seniority or in the process of accumulating seniority, for the purpose of hours selection for Fall Session. For the next and all subsequent hour selections in that base area, they will be placed in their classification seniority order. An employee who has not established seniority and who changes base areas, will be placed at the bottom of the non-seniority list for the purpose of hours selection.
15.07 Management reserves the right to relocate (change the Home Base) of non-seniority staff for operational reasons.
Home Base. For purposes of this Agreement, the permanent base of operation of the Aircraft shall be Xxxxxxxx X Xxxxxxx Field Airport (KBED), Bedford, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
