PAYMENT OF PREMIUM TIME. In the event any employee works a shift requiring the payment of premium time for such shift, the hourly rate of pay for such shift, including premium pay, shall be considered as the regular hourly rate for the purpose of calculating overtime rates. Payment for shifts worked on Saturdays shall be paid at one and one half times the applicable shift rate for the first nine (9) hours and double time thereafter. Sundays and Holidays shall be paid at double the applicable shift rate.
