The Regular Hourly Rate clause defines the standard rate of pay an employee receives for each hour of work performed under normal, non-overtime conditions. This clause typically specifies the exact dollar amount or method of calculation for regular hours, excluding any premium rates for overtime, holidays, or special circumstances. By clearly establishing the baseline compensation, it ensures both parties understand the expected payment for standard work hours and helps prevent disputes over wage calculations.
Regular Hourly Rate. The regular hourly rate for employees shall be calculated by dividing the bi-weekly salary by the number of normally scheduled hours of work.
