Common use of Payment of Salaries Clause in Contracts

Payment of Salaries. Long-term relievers (a) Long term relievers employed in excess of three weeks, shall be paid a salary at the appropriate salary rate specified in this agreement. (b) If due, the following allowances shall be paid in addition; boarding allowance; staffing incentive allowance. (c) Long term relievers employed for one year or less shall be entitled to the provisions of this agreement as specified. (d) A long term relieving teacher appointed to a relieving position for a term of at least one year shall be regarded as a permanent appointment in terms of the provisions of this agreement.

(c) Long term relievers employed for one year or less shall be entitled to the provisions of this agreement document as specified. (d) A long term relieving teacher appointed to a relieving position for a term of at least one year shall be regarded as a permanent appointment in terms of the provisions of this agreement.
