Payment of Salary and Pay Days. Basic salaries for teachers shall be paid in twenty six (26) equal payments by a direct deposit. Pay days shall continue on every other Friday throughout the year. See the payment schedule in Teacher Compensation. The Board shall post the schedule of pay dates on the school website prior to the start of the school year.

The Board shall post the schedule of pay dates on the school web site prior to the start of the school year. Teachers have the option of receiving summer pay in a single payment on the second payroll date following the conclusion of the academic year if requested in writing to the Superintendent's office prior to March 1of each year. A teacher selecting this option will receive pay in equal installments of one twenty-sixth (1/26) of his or her annual salary with the balance of the contract paid on the second payroll date following the conclusion of the academic year.
