PEG Channel Transmission. The Franchisee will provide downstream transmission of the PEG Channels on its Cable System at no charge to the Town or other PEG access programmers other than as specified herein. Franchisee shall provide transport of the programming from the point of origination to the Franchisee’s headend and to the downstream channels at no charge to the Town or other PEG access providers other than as specified herein.

PEG Channel Transmission. A cable operator shall retransmit PEG channel signals in the format in which they are received from the Town or its PEG channel designee and at the same signal quality as that provided to all Subscribers of the cable service for local broadcast channels. A cable operator may not diminish, down convert or otherwise tamper with the signal quality or format provided by the Town or its PEG channel designee. A cable operator shall deliver a PEG channel signals to the subscriber in a quality and format equivalent to the quality and format of local broadcast channel signals carried on the cable service if provided as such by the Town or its PEG channel designee. A cable operator shall carry each PEG channels in both a high definition format and a standard digital format in the same manner as that in which local broadcast channels are provided, unless prohibited by federal law.
PEG Channel Transmission. Franchisee shall deliver the PEG Channel signals at a level of technical quality and reliability that complies with the levels of technical quality and reliability applied by the Franchisee for signals of commercial channels transmitted to Subscribers as a part of Basic Service; provided, however, that Franchisee shall have no responsibility to improve upon or modify the signal quality of any PEG Channels content provided to Franchisee by any PEG Channel programmer.
