Per Diem Expectations. Per diem nurses must be available a minimum of three (3) scheduled shifts each month, or the equivalent in a six (6) month period at the approval of the Department Manager/Director, as well one (1) of three (3) summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day) and one (1) of three (3) winter holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day).
