Per Diem Substitute (Long Duration. A person hired for more than thirty (30) consecutive workdays for a specific absent unit member. The per diem substitute (long duration) shall be paid, beginning with the thirty-first (31) consecutive workday, the daily rate based on the appropriate salary schedule step as determined by the contract. No other contract benefit will accrue during this period. Agency fee will apply to this unit member on a prorata basis tied to the daily rate paid by the district to that unit member. Agency fee will be effective the thirty-first (31) consecutive workday.

  • Pact Duration This Pact begins when both parties have legally signed it. It expires for the Contractor/Supplier 12 months after the last payment under the respective contract, and for all other Bidders 6 months after the contract has been awarded. If any claim is made / lodged during this time, the same shall be binding and continue to be valid despite the lapse of this pact as specified above, unless it is discharged / determined by Chairperson of the Principal.

  • Crossing of Picket Lines During Strike An Employee covered by this Agreement shall have the right to refuse to cross a picket line or to handle struck work arising out of Labour disputes.
