Substitute days. The Employer, with the agreement of the Employees concerned, may substitute the day an Employee is to take off for another day in the case of a breakdown of machinery, or a failure of shortage of electric power, or to meet the requirements of the business in the event of rush orders or some other emergency situation.
Substitute days. Secondary and Middle Schools shall have available, upon written request to the building principal/program manager, substitute days for the purpose of releasing department heads, team leaders, and other employees for observing and assisting in improvement of instruction in accordance with Article XI and other approved activities on the basis of one (1) day for every three (3) non-supervisory certificated employees in the school.
Substitute days. (a) An individual Employee, with the agreement of his or her Employer, may substitute the day he is to take off for another day.
(b) An Employee would therefore work on what would normally have been his or her accrued or rostered day off and accrue an entitlement to bank a rostered day off to be taken at a mutually convenient time for both the Employee and the Employer, provided that no less than seven days' notice is given before taking the banked accrued or rostered day(s) off.
(c) No payments or penalty payment shall be made to Employees working under this substitute banked accrued or rostered day off. However, the Employer will maintain a record of the number of accrued or rostered days banked and will apply the Average Pay System during the weeks when an Employee elects to take a banked accrued or rostered day off.
(d) Employees terminating prior to taking any banked accrued or rostered day(s) off shall receive the following: Average weekly pay X number of banked substitute days divided by 5.
(e) The Unions shall be notified in writing by the Employer of agreements made pursuant to this subclause by no later than the end of the 5th working day subsequent to the day upon which such agreement is made.
Substitute days. 25.8.1 An employer, with the agreement of the majority of employees concerned, may substitute the day an employee is to take off in accordance with 25.2.3 and 25.2.4, for another day in the case of a breakdown in machinery or a failure or shortage of electric power or to meet the requirements of the business in the event of rush orders or some other emergency situation.
25.8.2 An individual employee, with the agreement of his/her employer, may substitute the day he/she is to take off for another day.
Substitute days. 113.5.1 An Employer and their Employees may agree to substitute another day for any prescribed in this clause. For this purpose the consent of the majority of affected Employees shall constitute agreement.
Substitute days. (i) When Christmas Day or Boxing Day is a Saturday or a Sunday, a holiday in lieu will be observed on 27 December and/or 28 December respectively.
(ii) When New Year’s Day or Australia Day is a Saturday or a Sunday, a holiday in lieu will be observed on the next Monday.
(iii) Where in Queensland, public holidays are declared or prescribed on days other than those set out above, those days will constitute additional holidays for the purpose of this Agreement.
Substitute days. 6.5.1. In the case of a breakdown in machinery, a failure or shortage of electric power or the need to meet the requirements of the business in emergency situations, Iplex, with the agreement of the majority of Team Members concerned may substitute the day to be taken off for another day.
6.5.2. A Team Member, with the Agreement of Iplex, may substitute the day to be taken off for another day.
Substitute days. (a) An Employer and his or her Employees may agree to substitute another day for any prescribed in clause 28. For this purpose, the consent of the majority of affected Employees shall constitute agreement. An Employer proposing such a substitution shall provide advice of the proposal in writing to every affected Employee not less than four weeks prior to the date on which the majority of the Employees shall determine the question.
(b) An agreement pursuant to clause 28.4(a) shall be recorded in writing and be available to every affected Employee.
(c) If an agreement is made under clause 28.4(a), an Employee may, if he or she has reasonable grounds for doing so, elect to refuse to work on the original prescribed public holiday. If an Employee makes such an election, then the Employee will be required to work on the relevant substituted day.
Substitute days. 47.5.1 An employer and their employees may agree to substitute another day for any prescribed in this clause. For this purpose the consent of the majority of affected employees shall constitute agreement.
47.5.2 An agreement pursuant to 48.5.1 shall be recorded in writing and be available to every affected employee.
47.5.3 The union shall be informed of an agreement made in accordance with 48.5.1 and shall have seven days in which to refuse to accept it. The union will not unreasonably refuse to accept an agreement made under 48.5.1.
47.5.4 If the union refuses to accept an agreement made under 48.5.1, the parties will seek to resolve the matter in accordance with Clause 12 (Dispute Settling Procedures) of this Agreement.
Substitute days. S3.26.5.1 SPCA, with the agreement of the employees concerned may substitute the day an employee is to take off in accordance S3.26.2.3 and S3.26.2.4 hereof for another day in the case of a breakdown in machinery or a failure or shortage of electric power or to meet the requirements of the business in the event of rush orders or some other emergency situation.
