Common use of PERFORMANCE INTERVIEW Clause in Contracts

PERFORMANCE INTERVIEW. A. When an evaluation is completed, the employee's performance rating will be reviewed and discussed by the supervisor with the employee during a conference called a Performance Interview. The form will be completed at the meeting with the employee. The employee shall sign a copy of the evaluation as evidence that such a performance interview was conducted and shall receive a copy of the evaluation at the conclusion of the meeting. After it has been reviewed by the Superintendent a copy of this rating shall be placed in the employees personnel file. B. The employee signature does not imply concurrence with the evaluation, only that the employee has seen the evaluation. The employee has the right to submit a statement of explanation or rebuttal, which is to be attached to the evaluation form. If the employee refuses to sign the evaluation form, the supervisor will call in a witness to verify that the interview was held and to note that the employee refused to sign. Refusal to sign the evaluation form shall constitute a waiver of the employee's rights to a review of the evaluation.
