Periodicity [ESG 1. 10] The joint program should be reviewed periodically every six years, which should be specified in the published decision. If there is an accreditation decision, it should be granted – if the decision is positive – for a period of 6 years. During the 6-year period, the agency should be informed about changes in the consortium offering the joint program. The European Approach to Quality Assurance of Joint-programs constantly refers to the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG). As ARACIS’s compliance with ESG procedures has been reviewed three times in ENQA’s coordinated reviews, it can be anticipated that the standards defined in the European Approach to Joint-programs will be aligned with ARACIS procedures. The only exercise to be done is to establish where each standard is included in an ARACIS procedure in order to identify which one, if any, is not included at all.
