Five Day Work Week Schedule. The normal hours of work shall be eight (8) hours per day, however the starting and quitting time may be adjusted between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday inclusive, with one-half (1/2) hour in each work day allowed as an unpaid meal break. The one-half (½) hour lunch break shall be taken within one half hour of mid shift. Any deviation on large industrial sites shall be agreed to at the pre-job conference.

In no case shall the time scheduled on a make-up day be less than eight (8) hours. Time worked on make-up days shall be on a voluntary basis and each Employee has the right to refuse such work.
Five Day Work Week Schedule. Eight (8) hours shall constitute a regular work day between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. Regular hours shall be continuous except for a lunch period of up to one (1) hour which shall be observed between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. However, on camp jobs where kitchen facilities may necessitate, it is understood that by mutual consent of the Parties signatory hereto, the lunch period may be observed between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Should an Employee be requested to work during his regular lunch period, he shall be paid overtime rates for such work and be allowed an alternate lunch period of up to one (1) hour with no pay.

All other overtime after twelve (12) hours Monday through Friday shall be paid at double time (2x). ii. When working under the five (5) day work week schedule. Saturday may be used as a make-up day when weather conditions have caused lost time during the regular work week. A make-up day will only be worked during the same week that the time is lost. Work performed on a make-up day shall be paid at the regular straight time rate for the first eight (8) hours to a maximum of forty (40) hours per week after which the employee shall receive one and one half (1.5x) times their regular rate of pay for the first four (4) hours of overtime. If Saturday is not a makeup day, all other overtime hours on Saturday shall be paid at one and one half (1.5x) their regular rate of pay for the first twelve (12) hours and any time after will be paid at double time (2x). In no case shall the time scheduled on a make-up day be less than eight hours. Time worked on a make-up day(s) shall be on a voluntary basis and each Employee has the right to refuse such work.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week for full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be forty (40) hours, exclusive of the time allotted for meal periods, consisting of five (5) consecutive work days followed by two (2) consecutive days off. The week shall commence with the shift that includes 12:01 A.M. Sunday of each calendar week and end at the start of the shift that includes 12:00 midnight the following Saturday. The Employer retains the right to modify the work schedules to meet operational needs.

  • Work Day and Work Week The normal work day shall consist of up to 8 hours of work within a 24-hour period. The normal work week shall consist of up to 40 hours of work within a 7-day period. The Employer may define the work week on an individual, department, shift or facility basis in accordance with Federal and State law.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

(B) In the event of a declared emergency the notice requirement of this Section may be void. (C) The state will continue to observe the scheduling structures currently in place at each agency and agrees to bargain any change in the overall practice of how schedules are established.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Basic Work Week ‌ a) The basic work week of an employee working full- time shall be forty (40) hours consisting of five eight hour days; b) Daily hours of work shall be consecutive with the exception of rest and meal periods. No split shifts shall be worked; c) Employees shall not work longer than their regular, scheduled work day, unless requested to do so by Management; in which event, additional time will be paid at applicable regular or overtime rates. (Those Hospitals with the lesser required hours shall reflect in the salary rates a pro-rata lesser amount compared with salaries for other Hospitals based on the ratio that the standard or normal hours of work at the Hospital concerned are to thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours and shall appropriately reflect such hours in this Article). The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix. (b) (applicable to part-time employees only) The normal or standard work day shall be seven and one-half (7½) hours per day and the normal or standard full- time work week shall be an average of thirty-seven and one- half (37½) hours per week except in those hospitals where agreements already provide a normal or standard work day of less than seven and one-half hours and a normal or standard full-time work week of less than thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours. (Those Hospitals with the lesser required hours shall reflect in the salary rates a pro-rata lesser amount compared with salaries for other Hospitals based on the ratio that the standard or normal hours work at the Hospital concerned are to thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours and shall appropriately reflect such hours in this article.) Part-time employees shall be entitled to overtime pay at the rate of time and one-half their regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the normal or standard work day or in excess of the normal or standard full-time work week. The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix. (c) Where the Hospital and the Union agree, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Labour, other arrangements regarding hours of work may be entered into between parties on a local level with respect to tours beyond the normal or standard work day in accordance with the provisions set out in Article 25.01 of the collective agreement.

  • Time Schedule 4.1. A project schedule is included in Appendix A. 4.2. Any delay of services or change in sequence of tasks must be approved in writing by Delaware. 4.3. In the event that Vendor fails to complete the project or any phase thereof within the time specified in the Contract, or with such additional time as may be granted in writing by Delaware, or fails to prosecute the work, or any separable part thereof, with such diligence as will insure its completion within the time specified in this Agreement or any extensions thereof, Delaware shall suspend the payments scheduled as set forth in Appendix A.
