PERSONAL & ACADEMIC FREEDOM. 3.11.1 A bargaining unit member shall have reasonable freedom in classroom presentations and discussions and may introduce political, religious, or otherwise controversial material, provided that such presentations, discussions, and/or materials are relevant to the course content, aligned with the teaching standards, within the scope of the law, and consistent with approved Board policies and administrative regulations.
