Personal Illness/Disability Clause Samples
Personal Illness/Disability an employee may be entitled to disability leave upon written statement from a physician. During the time of the disability, the employee may utilize (or the Board may require utilization of) sick leave benefits to the extent which it has been accrued. Upon return from leave, the employee shall be returned to his/her position held at the time of the disability or to a position that seniority and qualifications entitles him/her.
Personal Illness/Disability. An employee who is unable to work because of personal illness or disability and who has exhausted all sick leave available may, upon application to the Board and upon approval of the Board, be granted a leave of absence without pay for the duration of such illness or disability, up to one (1) year. An extension may be granted by the Board for unusual situations.
