Common use of Personal Illness/Disability Clause in Contracts

Personal Illness/Disability. an employee may be entitled to disability leave upon written statement from a physician. During the time of the disability, the employee may utilize (or the Board may require utilization of) sick leave benefits to the extent which it has been accrued. Upon return from leave, the employee shall be returned to his/her position held at the time of the disability or to a position that seniority and qualifications entitles him/her.
