Common use of Personal Injuries Clause in Contracts

Personal Injuries. 33.1 Employees injured while at work will not be required to make accident reports before they are given medical attention, if required, but will make them as soon as practicable thereafter. Proper medical attention will be given at the earliest possible moment. 33.2 An employee prevented from completing a shift due to a bona fide injury sustained while on duty will be paid for that full shift at straight time rates of pay, unless the employee receives Worker's Compensation benefits for the day of the injury in which case the employee will be paid the difference between such compensation and payment for their full shift.
