Common use of PERSONAL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT Clause in Contracts

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT. Each employee will be issued with the following protective clothing: * Trousers 2 * Navy Collared Windcheater Long Sleeves 2 Jacket * Fluro Orange Collared Windcheater Long 2 Sleeves * Navy Polo T-Shirt Long Sleeve Shirt 2 * Boots: An Allowance to the value of $110 (inc GST) for boots will be reimbursed upon presentation of a receipt. If the employee terminates their employment within the first three (3) months of employment all protective clothing in the possession of the employee shall be returned to the Company, and unaccounted for items will be charged to the employee on a pro-rata basis. The professional image of a Company is enhanced if employees look neat and give the appearance of being part of a team. The protective clothing that is supplied by the Company shall be worn by employees at all times to help achieve this image. While not being part of any issue of work clothing/equipment supplied, the company shall be required to provide the following additional personal protective equipment (SAA approved) for use, when necessary, by employees during the performance of their required duties:
