Perth-Huron. If a Nurse is scheduled to work and is unable to report to work, or must leave work early due to adverse weather conditions, the employee shall be paid for such lost wages up to seven and one-half (7½) hours per year. Xxxxxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxx & Haliburton It is the policy of the Site that in the circumstances of inclement weather conditions, which prohibit safe driving, staff may be required to withdraw from service delivery or advised not to begin service delivery. Staff who would otherwise have been at work shall be entitled to payment for time lost from work. Payment shall be made at the employee’s normal hourly rate and employees shall not normally receive payment in excess of 7.5 hours per year. Payment to employees for time lost per year shall be authorized by the Immediate Manager/designate. Payment to employees for time lost from work due to inclement weather in excess of 7.5 hours per year shall be at the discretion of and expressly authorized by the Executive Director.
