Perth-Huron. (a) An "eligible employee" as used in this Article is one who works as scheduled or assigned both on their last scheduled working day prior to, and their first scheduled working day following the holiday, except when absent due to verified illness or other approved absence. (b) An eligible full-time employee who is not required to work on one of the above-mentioned holidays shall suffer no deduction in their salary by reason of the occurrence of the said holiday. (c) A part-time Nurse who is not required to work on one of the above- mentioned holidays shall be entitled to be paid for same on a “pro- rata” basis. The “pro-rata” amount shall be calculated per the Employment Standards Act.
