Petition and Election. If a petition is filed with the Public Authority which requests an election rescinding agency shop and such petition contains the signatures of at least thirty percent (30%) of the workers in this unit an election will be held. Such election may only be held once during the term of this Agreement. The verification of the petition and the election shall be conducted by State Mediation and Conciliation Services. Voting shall be by secret ballot and the majority vote of all workers covered by the unit shall control.
