PGM Sample Clauses

PGM. ‌ The second class is the Probe Gap Model (PGM), also known as Direct Probing. In PGM, packet pairs (or packet trains) are sent to the path at a single rate. This probing rate is set to the capacity of the tight link, and so it is larger than (or equal to) the available bandwidth of the path. The main component of PGM is a mathematical re- lation between the input and output rates of a probing packet pair, under a fluid traffic model, based on which PGM tools as Spruce [63] estimate the end-to-end available bandwidth. Even though that relation has been derived for a single queue model, it has been claimed that PGM is also accurate in multi-hop paths as long as there is a single bottleneck [63]. In PGM the available bandwidth is: A C ∗ = 1 − (∆out − ∆in) ∆in or A = C − CT , where CT is the cross-traffic rate.
PGM. PGM, also called C-Statin, is an angiogenesis inhibitor, created from a plant extract that is capable of halting new blood vessel growth and that has demonstrated potent anti-tumor activity in three animal tumor models (patent-pending, claims allowed, issuance imminent). More detailed information about PGM is included as Appendix B. This product is now available only in limited quantities. A significant investment in a production facility will be required before an uninterrupted supply can be manufactured.
