Physical and Environmental Protection. Supplier must: a. Limit physical access to information systems, equipment, and the respective operating environments to authorized individuals. b. Develop, approve and maintain a list of individuals with authorized access to the facility(ies) where information systems reside. c. Control physical access to information system output devices (e.g. printers, faxes, etc.) to prevent unauthorized individuals from obtaining the output. d. Monitor physical access to the facility where the information system resides to detect and respond to physical security incidents. e. Ensure reasonable physical security controls, commensurate with these Requirements, are in place at any worksites, including alternate worksites, where Supplier employees access Verizon Confidential Information. f. If approved by Verizon, transport Verizon Confidential Information only using a qualified courier, with tracking and in a physically secure container.

Physical and Environmental Protection. TCS has implemented security controls to protect TCS facilities and all information assets from unauthorized physical access, safeguard against environmental threats, hazards, natural calamity, manmade disasters, espionage, sabotage, damage, and theft. Following are the controls implemented in TCS premises to ensure physical and environmental security. • Physical access is restricted in TCS premises, and it is controlled through electronic access cards. • Physical access is provided to authorized associates only. • Sensitive areas such as data centers are further secured by two-factor authentication, e.g., consisting of biometric readers and PIN pads in addition to access card readers, with access limited to authorized personnel only. • CCTV is installed at critical entry and exits points of the facility. • ‘Clear Screen and Clear Desk Policy’ adopted to reduce risk of unauthorized access, damage to and loss of information both during and outside working hours. • Use of photographic, video, or other recording equipment is prohibited. • Communication cables are protected by concealed installation and locked inspection / termination points. • Visitor passes are issued to all visitors, and they need to be escorted into work areas/ secure areas throughout their presence in TCS premises.
